Truth’s

People will be or they won’t.

Don’t change them, they change themselves.

Change begins with me.

Act for me, not for what others will think of me.

All I can say is “wow”! Check it out. Oh so cool. You’ll need Chrome 4.0+ or Safari 4.0.4+. http://jilion.com/sublime/video

Awesome post from Robert Scoble, highly recommend you read the whole thing, however the following really rang true for me in particular from what he has written:

“Anyway, it’s clear that Google is the most arrogant player on the field. They feel they can actually carry out a war with both Apple and Facebook and they feel they can win.

Personally I’m cheering for Google. Why? Because between Apple, Facebook, and Google, Google is the most open, least controlling, and transparent company of the three.”

I may be a romantic idealist or some other flavor of optimistic hopeful but I think that technology has moved the world from the feared Orwellian big brother that we were expecting to the absolute opposite. Everyone knows way more about everyone else, more than anyone could have imagined 10 years ago, and although it may be uncomfortable at times at least it is a two way street.  And the best way to thrive in this transparent age is to be completely open, not controlling and build platforms that the entire world can leverage, talk about, and share with their neighbors. Which is basically why he picks Google as his winner in the show down that is coming and which is exactly why I don’t like the iPad – too closed and controlling (see here and here).

via Google’s two-front war; who are the winners and the losers?.
